Prof. Pietro Liò
Full Professor
Pietro Liò is a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at the University of Cambridge, where he is a member of the Artificial Intelligence group and the Cambridge Centre for AI in Medicine. He holds dual PhDs: one in Complex Systems and Nonlinear Dynamics from the University of Florence, and another in Theoretical Genetics from the University of Pavia. His interdisciplinary work spans artificial intelligence, complex systems, and computational biology. He is a Fellow and Council member of Clare Hall College, a member of ELLIS (the European Lab for Learning & Intelligent Systems), and a member of the Academia Europaea. He is also listed among the top Italian scientists by VIA-Academy.
