The Dorian Gray project is set to be featured at the ESC Congress 2025, taking place at the end of August in Madrid, Spain, one of the most prestigious annual events in cardiovascular medicine worldwide.
Organised by the European Society of Cardiology (ESC), the ESC Congress brings together over 30,000 healthcare professionals from around the globe, offering a platform for presenting the latest scientific advances, clinical practices, and technological innovations in the field of cardiology. It serves as a key meeting point for clinicians, researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers shaping the future of cardiovascular care.
This year, the Dorian Gray project will be in the spotlight during a dedicated ESC TV Connect session, scheduled for Saturday, 30 August 2025. The session, titled
“The Dorian Gray project: advanced technological solutions for bridging cardiovascular disease and cognitive decline,”
will offer a deep dive into the project’s innovative approach to linking two of the most pressing health challenges of our time.
The discussion will feature two distinguished speakers:
Prof. Dimitris Fotiadis, Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Ioannina and a key scientific leader of the project.
Dr. Mauro Massussi, researcher and expert in medical data analysis and integration.
Together, they will explore how the Dorian Gray project is leveraging advanced technological solutions—such as artificial intelligence, digital biomarkers, and integrative data platforms—to detect, predict, and monitor cognitive decline in patients with cardiovascular disease. The session will shed light on both the clinical relevance and the technological sophistication of the project.
Participation in ESC 2025 represents a significant milestone for the Dorian Gray consortium, providing international visibility and opportunities for collaboration within a high-profile scientific and medical community.
