DORIAN GRAY Public Involvement Board Meets to Share Insights on Health and Fitness Technologies

9 Jul 2025

On 26 May and 10 June 2025, members of the DORIAN GRAY Public Involvement Board (PIB) came together for two online consultation sessions focused on fitness and health technologies. These sessions provided a valuable opportunity for PIB members to share their personal experiences with health-related apps and devices, and to contribute directly to shaping the future development of the DORIAN GRAY app.

The meetings were facilitated by Soraya Moradi-Bachiller, Public Involvement Officer at Alzheimer Europe. Several members of the DORIAN GRAY research team also participated in both sessions, including Nicola Francesco Lopomo, Leonardo Angelini, Ugo Eb-Levadoux, Carlo Emilio Standoli, Carla Dei, and Louise Droste zu Senden.

During the sessions, PIB members were invited to discuss how they currently use digital tools to support their health and well-being. They also received an overview of the proposed DORIAN GRAY app, including its core features and intended functionality. The discussions that followed were rich in feedback, with PIB members offering thoughtful insights into how the app could be made more engaging, inclusive, and user-friendly—especially for future participants in the DORIAN GRAY study.

We are grateful to all PIB members who took part and for the valuable input they provided. Their contributions will play a key role in ensuring that the DORIAN GRAY app truly meets the needs of its users and supports healthy ageing in an accessible and empowering way.
